If you receive the Essential Futures scholarship, we'll send you a code that will reduce your tuition fees by either 50%, 60%, or 70%. Enter this code when you enroll. Make sure you use the code within 30 days – otherwise it will expire.
Remember, if you receive a scholarship, you'll need to pay for the remaining amount of your tuition. So, while our tuition fees are designed to be affordable, we still recommend that you check them before applying.
We'll assess your application and award you the scholarship based on merit. The amount you get is based on a few factors:
Your school or university grades
Your level of English proficiency
Your answers to the scholarship questions – so show us your passion, creativity and drive; they reveal a lot!
How much will I pay?
If you're awarded a scholarship, you'll pay:
I'm a current learner, can I apply?
You must be a new learner to apply for this scholarship. If you're a current learner, we have many more opportunities planned: stay tuned!
What if I get behind on my work? Will the scholarship be taken away?
The Essential Futures Scholarship was created to empower those negatively affected by COVID-19. That's why we expect you to maintain a 2.0 for AAS, 2.5 for BBA, and a 3.0 in the MBA.
Of course, we'll help you stay on track with support, coaching and mentoring throughout your program.
How long do I have to complete my program?
You must complete your AAS in Business in 18 months maximum, BBA in 40 months maximum and MBA in 18 months maximum.
Do I need to do anything else if I receive the scholarship?
Yes! You'll still need to enroll. Once you receive an official email that you've been awarded a scholarship, and that you have been admitted to Nexford University, you must enroll within 30 days using your unique email code.
Your scholarship will expire if not used within 30 days.
When enrolling, you'll have the opportunity to choose your program start date because we understand learners often need time to make plans before they can start a program.
Can I get in touch to explain my application?
Unfortunately, we can't reply to individual messages. Everything we need to know to make a decision is in your application.
What is an MBA? What is a BBA? What is an AAS in Business?
We offer graduate and undergraduate degrees: an MBA, a BBA and an AAS in Business.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a graduate management degree for experienced professionals.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a foundational business degree. The BBA is perfect if you're an early career professional, or if you're shifting into a new career in business.
Associate of Applied Science in Business (AAS) is an associate’s degree. As an undergraduate program, it’s the next stage after secondary school. Some learners use it as a platform to progress to a bachelor’s degree.
What does GPA mean?
Your Grade Point Average (GPA) is the average of all the grades you earn in your degree. We calculate your GPA on a four-point scale:
As receive 4.0
Bs receive 3.0
Cs receive 2.0
Fs receive 1.0
We don't grant D or E grades.
To hold your scholarship, you'll need to keep your GPA above 2.0 for AAS in Business, 2.5 for BBA, and 3.0 for MBA.
