If I'm successful, how do I receive the scholarship?

If you receive a Kenda Advance Scholarship, we'll send you a unique code which will reduce your tuition fees by 50 - 100%. Enter this code when you enroll. Make sure you use the code within 30 days from receiving it – otherwise it will expire.

Remember, if you receive a scholarship for 50% you'll need to pay for the remaining 50% of your tuition. So, while our tuition fees are designed to be affordable, we still recommend that you check them before applying.

How do you choose if I'll get 50% or 100% off tuition?

We'll assess your application and award you either a 50% scholarship or a fully-funded scholarship based on merit. The amount you get is based on a few factors:

  • Your school or university grades
  • Your level of English proficiency
  • Your answers to the scholarship questions – so show us your passion, creativity and drive; they reveal a lot!

How much will I pay with a 50% scholarship?

If you're awarded a 50% scholarship, you'll pay:

  • Average $1,440 for your MBA ($80 per month)
  • Average $1,440 for your BBA ($40 per month)
  • Up to $480 for an advanced certificate ($80 per month for 6 months)
  • Up to $240 for an intermediate certificate ($40 per month for 6 months).

I’m a current learner. Can I apply?

You must be a new learner to apply for this scholarship. If you're a current learner, we have many more opportunities planned: stay tuned!

What if I get behind on my work? Will the scholarship be taken away?

The Kenda Advance Scholarship is designed for people with big ambitions. That's why we expect you to maintain a 2.5 GPA in the BBA and a 3.0 in the MBA.

Of course, we'll help you stay on track with support, coaching and mentoring throughout your program.

How long do I have to complete my program?

You must complete your BBA in four years maximum and MBA in 24 months maximum.

Do I need to do anything else if I receive the scholarship?

Yes! You'll still need to enroll. Once you receive an official email that you've been awarded a scholarship, and that you have been admitted to Nexford University, you must enroll within 30 days using your unique email code.

Your scholarship will expire if not used within 30 days.

When enrolling, you'll have the opportunity to choose your program start date because we understand learners often need time to make plans before they can start a program.

How do you choose who gets a scholarship?

We look at your answers on your scholarship application. These help us learn what you could achieve with an American degree. We want to know that you'll use your scholarship to advance and go after your goals.

Our Scholarship Committee meets twice a week to decide who will receive a scholarship.

Can I get in touch to explain my application?

Unfortunately, we can't reply to individual messages about scholarship applications. Everything we need to know to make a decision is in your application.

What is an MBA? What is a BBA?

We offer graduate and undergraduate degrees: an MBA and a BBA.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a graduate management degree for experienced professionals.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a foundational business degree. The BBA is perfect if you're an early career professional, or if you're shifting into a new career in business.

What does GPA mean?

Your Grade Point Average (GPA) is the average of all the grades you earn in your degree. We calculate your GPA on a four-point scale:

As receive 4.0
Bs receive 3.0
Cs receive 2.0
Fs receive 1.0

We don't grant D or E grades.

To hold your scholarship, you'll need to keep your GPA above 2.5 for BBA, and 3.0 for MBA
